NSF/Overdraft Protection

Your Line of Credit will be linked to your Checking Account. If on any day the Available Balance in your Checking Account is not sufficient to cover checks and other items posted to your Account (including returned items, EFTs, Online or Mobile Banking transfers, ACH transfers, ATM withdrawals, and POS or other ATM or Debit Card transactions), we may make an advance under your linked Line of Credit to pay such items. Transfers from the linked Line of Credit may help you avoid paying NSF fees and or Overdraft fees. For more information, refer to BECU's Account Agreements (PDF).

How to Access Line of Credit Funds

  • Access funds from Online Banking, Mobile App, ATM or over the phone.
  • Automatic Line of Credit transfers for the purpose of NSF/Overdraft Protection will be made in $100 increments (or the unused portion of the available credit limit if less than $100). Interest charges accrue from the date any credit advance or transfer is posted to your account.
